The island is lush and green, with natural vegetation that creates a true sense of seclusion. Villas are spacious and modern, with smart zoning and excellent soundproofing. Overwater villas offer direct lagoon access, while beach villas open right onto the ocean. Dining is top-level, with a wide range of cuisines and an extensive seafood selection. The personal butler service really works — all requests are fulfilled promptly. The spa complex is excellent, with massages on par with premium salons. Water activities include snorkeling, diving, paddleboarding, and yachting. The Baa Atoll is rich in marine life — manta rays and sea turtles can often be seen right by the villas.

The overall cost is high — all additional services are expensive, especially excursions and water activities. Without prior restaurant reservations, you may have to wait for a table. The transfer from Malé takes time and requires a seaplane, which doesn’t always align conveniently with international flights. Internet is available, but the speed can be inconsistent.
