Advantages and disadvantages
It’s great that all rooms have ocean views – even the standard ones offer a beautiful panorama. The pool is large and features a bar area, perfect for relaxing with a cocktail by the water. The hotel is close to Galle Fort, easily reachable by tuk-tuk. Breakfasts are varied, with good quality ingredients.
The beach isn’t entirely private – it’s located right in front of the hotel but has open access, so local vendors sometimes appear. Waves can be strong, making swimming less comfortable at times. The food selection in the restaurants is not very extensive, and prices at the à la carte are quite high.
