Advantages and disadvantages
I liked that the hotel is built not as a typical resort complex, but in the style of a Cretan village – with a central square, small streets, and everything spread out among separate buildings. It gives a sense of space, and there’s no feeling of overcrowding. The territory is safe for children, so they can move around freely. It’s also convenient that the rooms have a kitchenette – you can cook for yourself or just have everything you need close at hand. In the evenings, they organize Greek nights with music and dancing – the atmosphere is pleasant and not overly animated.
Due to the scattered layout of the buildings and large distances between areas, it takes time to get to the restaurant or the pool. Internet connection is unstable in some of the apartments. Reaching the town of Agios Nikolaos requires transportation. If you're not taking part in the activities, the evenings may feel too quiet. Some areas and apartments do not offer full sea views, despite being close to the coastline.
