Perfect for visiting Barcelona.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. And if I choose something again, trust me, that’s a sign. The hotel is located five blocks from the Sagrada Família and is surrounded by many excellent restaurants and cafés. And of course, when visiting Barcelona, the most important thing is to be able to walk from the hotel to the main attractions. From Best Aranea, it’s about a 30‑minute walk to Plaça de Catalunya, 40 minutes to the Gothic Quarter, 10 minutes to the Sagrada Família, and just a few steps to a delicious local restaurant with amazing Catalan cuisine.

The rooms are clean, the linens are fresh, the toiletries are of good quality, and the towels are perfectly white.

If you book a superior room, most likely, besides a slightly larger space, you’ll also get a view of the top of the Sagrada Família.

The hotel has a special feature: a rooftop terrace with a view of Barcelona. There are sun loungers and a shower. You can sunbathe in the summer, and in other months it’s a great spot to work with your laptop or read a book.

Breakfasts are tasty and fairly varied: fresh fruits (pineapple, grapefruit, kiwi), vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts, omelets, cereals, pastries.

The staff is friendly and attentive.

A nice little detail: right opposite the elevators there are vending machines with snacks, drinks, and coffee. At any time of day or night, you can go down in your pajamas, step forward, buy something for 1‑2 euros (a Snickers, Fanta, water, cappuccino), and return to your room.

One nuance: the hairdryer in the room didn’t work very well. But the reception staff is aware, and as soon as you mention it, they immediately provide an extra powerful one.
